In order to promote detoxification, it was previously explained in my Detoxification article that juices, especially vegetable juices are an ideal source of key nutrients.
Made from more than one vegetable, in a proportion that contains more than a portion of vegetables you would otherwise have on your plate, a vegetable juice is packed with nutrients, and key enzymes, promoting detoxification while bringing the antioxidants level to the max, with reduced calorie intake.
If you work on a food combining diet, and believe that the body works as follow:
8am – 12pm – Detoxification
12pm – 8pm – Feeding
8pm – 12am – Assimilation
You should always start the day with a vegetable juice at 8.30 am (even if you don’t follow this diet), then again at 10.30am or 4.30pm after a stressful day to re-alkalising the body. You can also drink herbal tea freely. A juice should be drunk immediately to reduce the loss of Vitamin.
Lunch should be at 12pm, focussing on carbohydrates and raw vegetables (salads, crudités…) and dinner should be finished by 8pm, based on proteins, when eating should be resumed for the day.
A vegetable juice should include lots of greens (including raw kale, collard/spring greens or cabbages leaves), cereal grass, ginger, carrots, avocado, apples, grapes, celery, cucumber, raw beetroot…
Make sure you use a smoothie-like blender or handheld blender rather than using a juice maker.
Celery and cucumber rehydrates the body, while chlorophyll-rich vegetables and Lemon juice alkalise the blood, boosting the immune system, aided by an entire spectre of Vitamins, with some acting as antioxidants.
This SuperGreen vegetable juice is packed with enzymes, promoting a better digestion and detoxification of the Liver and other key detoxifying organs, and vegetable Protein to assist the body in repairing itself.
